April 14, 2022 – Temple Hills, Maryland – Jason Lewis of Temple Hills announced today that he will be running for the Prince George’s County Democratic Central Committee At-Large seat for District 26. His candidacy for public office reflects his motivation to advocate for Prince George’s County residents. Candidate Lewis is committed to ensuring County residents are heard and informed about issues that impact them and their families. Candidate Lewis will work to bridge gaps between the community’s priorities and government initiatives through Democratic Central Committee engagement at the County level.

My work will be that of cultivating environments where Prince George’s County residents can work with one another and elected officials to address community challenges and pursue opportunities to improve the lives of their families, friends and neighbors. I sincerely believe that when we invest in what matters, we achieve what matters,” said Candidate Lewis.
Over the past 14 years, Candidate Lewis has had the honor of serving U.S. military Veterans and active duty Servicemembers all over the world. In his leadership roles within the Department of Veterans Affairs, he has provided educational and resource support to Veterans. Candidate Lewis has assisted over 1500 service members in finding federal employment across the nation; his efforts have resulted in approximately $5.9 million in cost savings to the federal government.
